Bio:
I am a 21 year-old pro-skier based out of Salt Lake City. I currently attend the University of Utah and am working towards a double major in English and Journalism and a minor in Spanish. I find that the juggle between academics and athletics brings balance to my life, and enriches my potential as an athlete. I am currently pursuing my journalistic aspirations through an internship at Powder Magazine and freelancing about my adventures on the road. While skiing is my primary focus in life, I plan on combining both my talents in the upcoming seasons to have fun and love life!
Skiing History:
I learned how to ski at 1 1/2 years old and have been charging ever since. Whether it was in my mum’s program CB Cruiser’s, which introduced me to the legendary steeps at Crested Butte, or chasing gates, I loved to be on the hill. I attended high school at Crested Butte Academy and raced for their team until my love for the steep and deep took over. After introducing the idea of a freeride team with my favorite ski buddy, Asher Crank, CBA took on Wendy Fischer, Woody Lidenmyer, and Carrie-Jo Chernoff to help us achieve our dreams. That was in 2004, and the past four years have been a blur of chasing snow storms, making friends, and smiles.

Hi Phils Great Web site. Thoroughly enjoyed reading it and reading your words in Powder magazine. One correction from your aunty! third paragraph on piperoo page Change quite to quit racing otherwise it does not quite make sense!
Good luck with the writing and loved your recipes.
